For all the ocean lovers out there…Seas the Day is for you. This is a multi-layer piece that fuses Laurie’s love for Our Mother Ocean (OMO) with her positive attitude. The first step in this work was to complete an acrylic pour on a high quality canvas. After that dried, she stamped some golden coral heads around it. Next came a hand sketched sea shell highlighted with points of gold. The title of the piece, Seas the Day, was added in gold leaf ink pen. Last, but not least, an acrylic coating was lightly brushed on to the sea shell.
