Travel Basics

• Decide on an intriguing destination.  Like say…Bali.
• A travel budget is very important…no dough, no go.

• Determine how to align your budget with your destination.  Sounds easy, but not always.

• Pick a time frame that aligns with your destination and budget.  Like a weekend, a week, etc.

• Do your research for transport to, from and while you are there.
• Research accommodations and food/drink costs near your desired location(s) that fit the budget.

• Research the seasonal weather of your desired location relative to your travel goals and priorities.  In other words, avoid the mountains in the winter if you want to see wildflowers.

• Buy your tickets and hit the road!
